Our processing plant is certified HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). This means that Alpha Meat applies and uses a systematic and preventive method to assure the safety of the food we produce. Thus, our products meet extremely high quality standards and offer increased protection for consumers.

This accreditation allows Alpha Meat the status as a Federal establishment, meaning that we work closely on a daily basis with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) in order to mitigate potential food-related risks.

Alpha Meat is also certified, SQF (Safe Quality Food) Level 2, which adds quality and consistency to the food safety of our HACCP program and ensures the involvement of senior management and all the staff. Alpha Meat also has its Halal accreditation for beef products from the ISNA Halal certification agency.

Alpha Meat therefore reviews all the programs on an annual basis in order to demonstrate compliance with the regulations in force. QUALITY is at the heart of our daily activities.
